Germany: Christmas Magic in Munich

We arrived in Germany earlier this week, eager to experience its festive spirit.

Our first stop was Munich, home to one of Europe’s most famous Christmas markets, centred around the historic Marienplatz, complemented by many other quaint versions scattered around the city.

With a whole week up our sleeves, we wandered Munich by foot, attended the magnificent Cuvilliés Theatre, and even daytripped to the Neuschwanstein Castle, a bucket list realised.

Arriving in Munich just in time for the Krampus parade.
